Our club's calendar year started off really positively.
The same cannot be said for those drought, bushfire and more recently flood-affected communities.
While on duty on the bucket collection at our market last Sunday, one of the visitors to the market commented that "Australia is a country of extremes as evidenced by a bucket collection for both bushfires, drought and floods".
Let's spare a thought for those reeling from natures' extremes.
